Refining my Topic – Virtual Reality within the Fashion, TV & Movie, and Visual Arts Industries
This week proved to be a very productive week. While I was collecting resources for my project, I realized that my initial idea of including the ‘whole’ creative industries in my theory may be too big for the scope of the project. So my initial theory of ‘Virtual Reality Technology will continue to grow and become an effective method for advancing and expanding the Creative Industries in the next 5 years’ has now changed to;

Amazing Projects in Fashion
eBay and Myer have partnered to create the eBay Virtual Reality Department Store app. eBay has released their department store on Virtual Reality. All the user needs for shopping, is the eBay shopticals and the eBay Virtual Reality Department Store app from the app store and plenty of money.
Virtual Reality and the Fashion Runway. The business of Fashion website describes how designers at New York Fashion Week are enhancing the consumer experience offering live VR experiences to fans during the NYFW 2016 show. Intel and live event virtual reality firm Voke are a part of this project.
Amazing Projects in TV & Movie
Virtual Reality App Within. This cool project lets the users experience the future of storytelling today. From gripping tales to documentaries taking you further inside the news than ever before.
A similar interesting App is Jaunt, which is a growing community of VR creators who are defining the future of storytelling. Users can publish and distribute VR content across every device.
Amazing Projects in Visual Arts
An interesting and amazing project at https://virtualart.chromeexperiments.com/ explores and demonstrates artists and the Virtual App Tilt Brush. The website follows interactive sessions of artists and their first explorations in a 3D virtual environment.
